Broncos sign Moulton to practice squad

  • Print

DENVER (AP)—The Denver Broncos have signed cornerback Rashod Moulton(notes) to their practice squad.

He takes the spot that opened when the New York Giants signed cornerback D.J. Johnson(notes) to their active roster from Denver’s practice squad Wednesday.

Moulton was on the Broncos’ practice squad for the last half of last season. He was waived Sept. 4.

Its only one loss, it took the Broncos 7 weeks to lose a game! To go from not in the playoffs to undefeated along with the Saints and the Colts is amazing. This is a TEAM this year, this team IS going to the playoffs. They didn't need Cutler, they didn't need Shanahan. McDaniels had the Broncos 6-0 first the first time in a decade! I applaud him, I applaud the Broncos organization, and I applaud the team. This is a great year. Just because they lost ONE game doesn't mean the season's over. Look at the Patriots, they didn't lose a single game the whole season, they went through the playoffs, and what do they do? They blow it on the Ultimate Stage, the Super Bowl. So the team's record doesn't matter, its the talent, and yes the Broncos are now loaded with it, hence the 6-1 record, something they deserve to boast about. GO BRONCOS!

I feel when the smoke clears Denver will be happy if they win 4 games. I remember watching them play from day one of the franchise at the Denver University Stadium. I still hold the rights to my Father's tickets. I have no reason to waste my time, money and large traffic jams for a no win team! And Mr. Pat B. you lost lots of faith with the other owners around the league. Mike will be back, and I hope it is with a team in our conference, if not he will produce another Super Bowl win, maybe a few. I know for sure he will rub mud in your face where ever he goes next year, and your still paying him pat.....................

Get ready Broncos, REALITY time is here! Wake-up ! We were all critical of Plummer and never went after a "quality" back-up for QB. Two, three years ago, there were plenty of QB's available for the taking. Cutler showed signs of his "behavior" and intenttions throughout the last two seasons. Anybody "wonder" why he didn't lead his team to a single victory at the end of last season, when they only needed one win to clinch a playoff slot ? They lost four straight games to avoid the playoffs ! Not a single win (0-4 !) . Where was Culter's leadership and ability when we needed it ? No, Bronco Fans, Mr. Wonderful was not the answer ! Sure the defense was lousy and Shannahan looked like a beaten man, and lost his player- control, but where was his QB when he needed him ?! Now look at we we have, a swiss-cheese defense ( I don't see any "upgrades" here) and junior-varsity QB's that look like they are scared to death to take the field ! No, Bronco Fans, we are NOT going to take anybody by surprise this season....P.S. Rememeber the Detroit Lions last season? We'll be lucky to be as "competitive". Sorry, but this is "Reality".

I so agree Greg B Its about all about the TEAM and Team Football wins Championships. If you dont have everybody on the same page on the field then its not goin to go so well. Jay Cutler had a big mouth, and wanted to run everything on offense when josh McD already had new schemes up his sleeves so at this point i really dont care if we lose Brandon Marshall cause We Will Be Better As a TEAM. and All these Fake Broncos Fans gone be looking Dumb When we actually upset Alot of teams this season because they will not be able to have a good strategy against us. But Broncos just gotta stay healthy cause the injuries is really why we had to change into a new direction.

Turn out the lights the party is over. Josh Mc Rookie looked like a weeny in his copycat hoodie. The Broncos will be 3 and 13. They will be lucky to split with KC and the Raiders. Da Bears will be in the playoffs with Cutler and Shanhan is getting the last laugh. Mike is probably having to take medication to keep him from laughing all day long. I am sure Pat Bowlen enjoys paying for nothing both on the off the field. LOL

I could care less about who is quarterback. Lets see more Hillis. Lets see more Royal. Lets see more Scheffler. More Clady, More Harris. This offense is young and good, a healthy Moreno may make it great!

I'm stoked about seeing the Broncos as a TEAM, the way it has always been. Not just a collection of individuals.

I want to see a salute thrown in the endzone, but not to the fans. Throw it back to your 'O' line, your fullback, your quarterback, your coach. Respect is not the dollars you earn. It is the way your teammates feel about you as a player, a leader, a warrior.

I love this team for getting back to its roots and showing the bravery to try to lead the NFL in a different direction other than paying for the next individual. Team is first. Keep this in mind when you watch as you will see team football possibly for the first time in 10 years in a Broncos uniform.

What the F*&K are they waiting for. Sign them and lets get this season started so we can focus on football. They need to go after Vick.

Where would Cutler be without that o line pro bowl no more ha ha ha ha .We always had a running game and it just got better can you say terrell davis ha ha moreno lol lol we will be in the top at the end of the season. No More choke artist like jay cutler who got demolished by san diego at the end of the season and couldnt take his team to the playoffs he suck little crybaby. Go DEnver!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank God Quinn is finally in the fold! It wouldn't have mattered that the local football team signed fireballer Kyle Orton without a prodigious TE like Quinn. Look out, Oakland, this will now be an offensive force that could keep you last in the AFC West again! I'm not saying it's a for-sure thing but unless the Raiders can win four or more games, Denver should finish higher than them.

Yes, the new coach and all these fine players he's acquired should really make a big difference! He is transforming this team and the offense should be almost as good as the defense was, las year. What a great team and what a great coach! This will be SUCH and exciting year for the team now that it finally has some REAL offensive talent!

Post 49 - SD Dude - "I find it fascinating that absolutely none of this would have happened if the bolts had not destroyed the donkeys in wk 17. " Yes and we would all be eating sushi w/saurkraut as our national meal, if we hadn't destroyed Nazi Germany and A Bombed Japan. Point is, it did happen. Maybe you should be more concerned about your SD team that went 8-8 in the worst division in football and has done nothing in the off-season to improve their team. You do know the definition of insanity is: Doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. Chargers are most likely going to go 8-8 again, if not worse. Will they win the division? Maybe. Will they trip on their d**ks in the playoffs? If they make it, guaranteed.
