CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP)—Carolina Panthers leading tackler Thomas Davis(notes) is inactive against Buffalo because of a hamstring injury.

Starting fullback Brad Hoover(notes) also didn’t dress for Sunday’s game because of lingering back pain.

The Bills had starting defensive tackle Kyle Williams available after he was listed as questionable with a shoulder injury. Roscoe Parrish(notes) was inactive for a second straight game after losing his job as the return man.

The Bills had ruled quarterback Trent Edwards(notes) (concussion), safeties Donte Whitner(notes) (ankle) and Bryan Scott(notes) (ankle) and right tackle Jonathan Scott(notes) (ankle) out on Friday.

Landon Johnson(notes) started for Davis at weakside linebacker. Hoover practiced on Friday, but was scratched, making rookie Tony Fiammetta(notes) Carolina’s top fullback.

Time of possesion was in the Panthers favor today...but again Jake's turnovers killed us...along with the fumbled punt return late in the 4th quarter. John Fox needs to realize the Panthers cant rely on being the last minute 4th quarter come from behind team as we always have been...Jake's lost his touh, and what better time than to give one of the back-ups a chance to shine

If Casrolina Don't Bench Jake Are Trade For A Good QB Carolina Will Not Win Another Game This Season. If Coach Fox Can't See This Then He Needs To Be Canned. Jake Can't Throw a Ball Down The Feild?
