49ers give Brown 3-year extension

  • Print

SANTA CLARA, Calif. (AP)—San Francisco cornerback Tarell Brown(notes) has received a three-year contract extension that takes him through the 2013 season.

Brown, a fifth-round draft pick in 2007 out of Texas, is a backup in the 49ers’ secondary who competed for a starting job during training camp before injuring his toe and missing time.

Brown received increased playing time last season at nickel back and also contributed 16 tackles on special teams.

oh please SWEET BABY JEbUS please empower our O LINE from here on out. If we win against Indy what does that say? Does it depend on how we win if we win? how about if we lose does it depend on how we lose? Has anybody been watching Arizona lately and seen there schedule? Oh and one more thing , really if we're gonna commit to the 3-4 which i love , please SWEET BABYJEbUS inspire management to draft that monster beast in the middle, that 6 foot whatever 340 pound cement block that can run down QB's and RB's

Great.! 3 more years of living in the training room. Guy can't stay on the field, why bother offering extension?

Alex can do it, but he has to stop making turnovers at a critical times. He plays mistake free games, watch out we're going p.o. or s.b. or nowhere.

NorCal's sentiment shared - how bout some real O-line developments already? Its clear that thats where the problems begin and end with the offense now - it needs to be fixed!
