Shutdown Corner - NFL

Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch made headlines for not wanting to be in the news prior to Super Bowl XLVIII.

Lynch did not want to speak with the media, and cut all of his interviews short. NFL Network analyst Deion Sanders tracked down Lynch, who was hiding, on Media Day, but the running back did not say much. However, he left NFL fans with one of the best quotes ever:

“I’m just ‘bout that action, boss.”

Lynch proved actions speak louder than words against the Denver Broncos on Sunday.

Seattle faced third-and-4 on Denver’s 5-yard line in the second quarter when quarterback Russell Wilson attempted a pass to Golden Tate Broncos cornerback Tony Carter was flagged for pass interference, which gave Seattle first down on Denver’s 1-yard line.

Two plays later, Lynch scored on a 1-yard touchdown run, which gave Seattle a 15-0 lead.

Enough said.
