This weekend, His Holiness the Dalai Lama visited Gillette Stadium, known for its serene and peaceful nature, to talk to 16,000 people about the path to happiness and enlightenment. Apparently, jumping on the Patriots' bandwagon just as soon as Tom Brady is healthy again is a stop on that path.
I kid, I kid (the Lama can take a joke). But he did briefly wear an official Patriots draft hat at the appearance, much to the delight of the crowd. As he put the hat on, one young man in the audience, who might not fully understand the Lama's teachings, jumped out of his seat and screamed, "WOOOOOOOO! JETS SUCK! SANCHEZ IS A PANSY! WOOOOO!"
Okay, that last part didn't really happen. At least, if it did, it didn't make the news. But congratulations, Patriots fans. The Dalai Lama supporting your team can't do anything but bode well for the upcoming season.

Jesus wouldn't endorse Ray Lewis and the Ravens-maybe the Lions? (something about the meek inheriting the first draft pick or something)
