If you're a Chargers fan, that loss Thursday night was hard on you. Your team was favored, at home, playing against a hated rival, and the lead in the AFC West was on the line. It was a big game, and your team failed miserably.
Some postgame frustration was inevitable, but I hope you were able to stop short of getting hammered, stumbling into a stranger's home and falling asleep on her couch. Because not everyone was.
According to Sign On San Diego, an 81-year-old woman in Pacific Beach went out into her living room at 7:20 Friday morning and found a dude asleep on her couch. The man was estimated to be in his 20s and was wearing a San Diego Chargers jersey. She called the police, and they took him into custody and charged him with being drunk in public.
Fortunately, no one was hurt, though I'm sure it was very frightening for the woman. That is, unless she watched the game on Thursday night, in which case she would know that all she had to do was pick up a football, and then it would become extremely unlikely that anyone in a Chargers jersey would do anything threatening to her.
