Video: Referee Carl Cheffers has a 'wanna get away' moment

When you travel a lot, it's not always easy to remember where you are. Bands have had their "Hello, Cleveland!" moments, when they call out the wrong city from the stage, and this appears to be what happened to referee Carl Cheffers in the fourth quarter of the Dallas Cowboys' 27-13 win over the Houston Texans. Then again, Cheffers didn't seem to be too clear on the penalties he was calling after a Texans kickoff, and return by Cowboys rookie cornerback Akwasi Owusu-Ansah(notes):

To be clear, there were three fouls on the play, and they offset each other -- unnecessary roughness calls against Dallas linebacker Leon Williams(notes) and Houston linebacker Kevin Bentley(notes), and holding on Dallas long-snapper L.P. LaDouceur(notes) (the hold was offsetting, but enforced). It's tough to keep that all straight in the heat of an important NFL game, so we'll give Cheffers a break on that one. But, yes -- that is most certainly a "Wanna get away?" moment.
