Ed Reed(notes) was on fire Sunday, both figuratively and literally.
The Baltimore Ravens All-Pro had two interceptions, including the game-winner, in the team's playoff-clinching victory over the Cleveland Browns. Then his jacket caught fire while on the sideline because he was sitting too close to a heater:
Reed was unhurt. He later confirmed that his proximity to the heater is what caused the flames.
[Rewind: Stunning photos of a fire that incinerated NHL team's gear]
Though Ed neither stopped, dropped, nor rolled when his jacket caught on fire, his quick thinking in taking off the coat was a savvy, veteran move befitting of a future Hall of Famer. Somehow, I think there's a Baltimore fire safety PSA in his future.
