With all the off-the-field attention on fines, dirty hits and empty retirement threats last week, it was refreshing to finally get back to football at 1 p.m. on Sunday. Washington Redskins cornerback DeAngelo Hall(notes) must have felt the same way. He had some well-publicized disagreements with defensive coordinator Jim Haslett after the team's loss to the Indianapolis Colts and was forced to publicly clear the air with his coach. I'm guessing they won't have a similar issue this week.
Hall tied an NFL record by intercepting four of Jay Cutler's(notes) passes in the 'Skins ugly 17-14 win over the Chicago Bears. His second pick was a highlight-reel grab that will likely hold up as the play of the day in the NFL:
It seems like players are making more one-handed catches than ever before this year. Funny, because it also seems like more players are dropping easy two-handed catches than ever also.
Hall had more catches than all but two players on the Redskins offense.
