The Buffalo Bills played their fifth annual game in Canada on Sunday, but apparently the previous four years of American football wasn't enough to indoctrinate international fans to our variations of the Lambeau Leap.
After Scott Chandler's(notes) third-quarter touchdown, he ran to the corner of an end zone in Toronto's Rogers Centre (the spelling of "Centre" lets you know it's in Canada) and clearly expected to be warmly embraced when he lept into the crowd. The leap did not go as planned.
This week, some Bills players complained that playing in Toronto wasn't a real home game. Then they go out and try to leap into the crowd like it's Rich Stadium circa 1992. WHICH IS IT, BUFFALO?
I particularly enjoy the father choosing to record the play on his phone rather than embrace a player. It's all about recording things for posterity.
