Venus and Serena Williams now also own part of the Dolphins

At all celebrity galas in the city of Miami, I believe they're giving away part ownership of the Dolphins in celebrity gift bags.

The latest luminaries to join the ownership group are tennis superstars Venus and Serena Williams, so they'll be sitting next to Gloria Estefan, Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez at the owner's meetings.

Serena has not yet announced plans to start at inside linebacker for the Dolphins, but I think she might. Channing Crowder (notes), you've been warned. You're not the only one in the organization with long hair and powerful thighs, mister.

Actually, since most major sports teams have already extorted the local populace for the cost of new stadiums, we should all be shareholders of our local franchises. Just sayin...

This is just stupid...bad for the game...takes the integrity out of it...Either sell a REAL minority stake to whomever, or dont allow it to go on like this...ABSOLUTELY ridiculous...

Venus is too skinny to be a FB... she's more like a WR/CB... maybe even K. I would def like to see Serena as a LB... she prob knock the shiet outta half the NFL QBs!!!

This is just utterly embarrassing, moreso than the Weinsteidt era or the 1-15 season. This new owner has really made a mockery of our team, and I think it may be time for me to trade in my colors and find a new team.
