Tony Romo to make an honest woman out of Jessica Simpson?

Word on the street is that Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo has chosen Jessica Simpson to be his tight end for life, no matter how un-tight her end eventually becomes. Us Weekly talks to friends of the couple who think they're getting hitched.

"I think they're going to get married," Romo's close friend of three years, Michael Starr, says in the latest issue of Us Weekly, on newsstands now.

Starr's prediction comes on top of Romo's former fling Sophia Bush telling Us, "I think they could go the distance.

"They're perfect for each other," the actress, a mutual friend of Romo and Simpson, added. "They're both funny and wonderful and kind. I'm rooting for them."
Many Cowboy won't share her optimism, although it is nice to see, as the picture indicates, that Cowboys fans would support gay marriage. 

Romo was brutal against the Giants in the playoffs, just days after pictures surfaced of him on vacation in Mexico with Jessica. A lot of fans, misguided as they may have been, felt like Romo's atrocious play was her fault.

I prefer to believe that Romo's poor play that day was due to the Giants defense. After all, they had shut down Tom Brady and the Patriots offense in the Super Bowl, and I don't believe that Brady had just spent a week busting through Jessica's coverage.

But what do I know? All I did was watch the games. I don't even subscribe to Us Weekly.

    i think its cute !! if they are both happy and they both love each other they should get married... they dont need anyone making up their minds for them.... plus her and nick are done and over with and never going to happen again... and tony and his ex are over and done with... but i think jessica should keep her name as jessica simpson when shes signing autographs and selling her c.d's

    Doesn't he know that he's going to be BABYSITTING her? She can't cook or clean for him. What kind of man would marry a woman who can't perform the basic functions of survival? The world was witness to exactly the kind of wife she was and will be on her tv show with her ex husband...are big boobs and blond hair all it takes to land yourself a quarterback nowdays? hahahahaha. I like Jessica Simpson but I think that she should just stay single and PLAY THE FIELD...it's obvious that marriage doesn't work for her.

    Any fool that thinks Jessica simpson contributed in any way to the loses the cowboys suffered are idiots! As a die hard football fan I am appalled that grown men and women are engaging in such riff raff. The Giants are now SUPER BOWL champs, and one would think that a team with that title WOULD have a defense that shuts down offenses, but no, no, no, It must have been Jessica's pink numbered jersey that did the trick!! Give me a break! Will the real football fanatics please stand up!
