You would think that being a starting quarterback in the NFL would come with at least a couple of privileges, like getting your parents within seven miles of the field to see you play on Sunday.
If you're Houston Texans default starter TJ Yates and you're playing in Cincinnati, though? Not the case.
Mr. and Mrs. Yates did get to see their son (or at least, the tiny, indistinguishable, white blob they assumed was their son) pull out a thrilling comeback win over the Bengals. Yates hit Kevin Walter for a touchdown with :03 on the clock to cap a 300-yard, two-touchdown day. Hopefully, his parents DVR'd it.
