T-Pain is recording a new anthem for the Dolphins

Despite the fact that 75 percent of all pop artists on the planet own a piece of the team, the Miami Dolphins have apparently reached out to T-Pain to record a new song for the team. Madeleine Marr of the Miami Herald gives us a glimpse into T-Pain's vision:

Some original lyrics: "Miami has the Dolphins, the greatest football team. We take the ball from goal to goal like no one's ever seen. We're in the air, we're on the ground, we're always in control. And when you say Miami, you're talking Super Bowl!"

Whoa, whoa, whoa. Let's be a little more careful about how we throw around the term "original."

Apparently, there was a big party on Friday night to unveil the 2010 Dolphins cheerleaders calendar, and T-Pain emceed the event. He showed up, naturally, in a big red hearse that contained a coffin. There's also a note about how this fellow will be adding design touches to Land Shark Stadium. It really was quite the odd little article.

Is this clown a songwriter or a fiction writer? Then again, Miami did host SBXLI so if he means it that way then that's ok.

I think he nailed it by arriving in a hearse. Fins schedule is a lot harder this year, which is why management is pushing the good time feel of parrot heads and Landshark beer to numb the fans into complacency.

Hey vertskate, this "clown" that wrote the original lyrics wasn't Tpain. Also, im not sure what kind of bandwagon fan you are, but the Dolphins are the ONLY team to go undefeated and win the superbowl. Until your or any other team does that, try and post comments that don't make you sound like an &**hole.

*Whisper* Guess what, ANewBeginning? We're not in in the 1970's anymore. No one gives a rat's @$$ what the Dolphins did or didn't do almost 40 years ago.

Okay so let's look at the present. Not only did they have to compete with Tom Brady (who thankfully for the rest of the teams got hurt), the Dolphins had to compete with a not so washed up Farve. Last I heard, they went to the play offs. Yes, it was a close race and of course they choked when they got there but have you seen the devision? It is one of the hardest in football. And did any of your teams come up with the idea to actually use the Wild Cat? No? I didn't think so, but you know thats just some facts at the present. So, Rock on Fins!

How does Miami suck balls? Why is it that Miami was only good in the 70's? Miami has an alltime winning percentage of 59%...tops in the NFL...they have the winningest coach of all time in Don Shula with 347 wins...the nearest coach to him is Tom Landry with 270 wins...So not only did Miami go undefeated, they had the first quarterback to ever eclipse 40 TD's. The reasons behind Manning and Brady even sniffing and eventually breaking the TD record are because the rules have changed so much to allow for passing offenses to matriculate down the field easier...so, what sucks about Miami?
