There will likely be 10-12 (and maybe even more) coaching vacancies. Cowher has a history with Cleveland, but will be very tempted to go to the highest bidder. Part of why he left Pittsburgh was that he wanted more money. I don't buy the family thing.

To any fan who cheered when DA was hurt,
Go find a new team to cheer for! I hear the Ravens are doing well, go jump on that bandwagon and don't come back.

The Browns are but a "bellweather" for Cleveland and the NE Ohio area. You all are too stupid to survive. I will move south, and hope that you all don't create a stench as you rot to your final, pitiful, awful rotteness. Unions...you are the cause. Enjoy!

The Cowher thing goes way back. he's a Brown. Just like Chuck Knoll was a Brown and from Cleveland. Browns fans would like to hire the obscure former Brown who leads a team( the hated Steelers) to a Super Bowl victory. If you don't understand this, then you can never understand the hatred or the rivalry. So it would be great to have the Browns winning system in Cleveland and not Pittsburg. Marty Shottenheimer would be the perfect fit.

lopsider, I don't think anyone was cheering the DA injury. I was at the game and 99% of what I heard was sarcasm/frustration. I even had my section going in a Dorsey chant, what was left of it at least.
It reminds me of the Tim Couch/Kelly Holcomb injury really, scary isnt it? Except people like Anderson A LOT more.

Do not worry Learner is too cheap to get a good coach. He is like the rest of the sports in Cleveland only spend enough to get the fans there. We pay for his team, and if we do not go to the games what will he do. I say boycott at least one home game. That will make him move off his cheap butt.

    To "bob".
Can you be any more stupid? First, learn to spell the owner's name. Second, how much is the offensive line being paid? How much for DA? He bought out Butch Davis contract.
What an uninformed hick moron. You almost give credence to Michael D of post 5, another moron.

The browns needs an out spoken coach, romeo is a good coach but he is 2 soft 2 be a head coach. also the team needs 2 be in the gym more often 2 help them stay healthy !!!!!!!
