Shawn Alexander a Bengal? Interesting.

The Bengals are talking to Shaun Alexander. And if anything will convince the people of Cincinnati that the "Okay, we'll take criminals and dilweeds, as long as they can play football" philosophy is a good one, it'll be the addition of a genuinely good man who absolutely can't play football.

Shaun doesn't fit the gangsta image. They have to keep it real and get another thug.

This move would probably be good for the Bengals. Sign a 1 year contract, then he has to work his tail off to get a new one. I think he will play well next year, for that reason.

shaun alexander is the product of a tiki barber, michael strahan, and reptile from mortal kombat threesome that happened before tiki left ny. reptile was in town for a few drinks and roofied strahan. michael told me that his motivation on every down is paying back reptile for this.

I don't know why everybody's cutting up Alexander. He was MVP a couple years ago and hasn't been able to bounce back from his injury. I don't think he'll ever be the same, but I can count on him to score 10-15 touchdown and 1,000- 2,000 yards this year if he's healthy.

He is going to the end of his career and id say he is going to come back to where he grew up plus he was a every down back for seahawks and bengals if they r smart they will jus use him when rudi and kenny gets tired or put him at 3rd down back and hav kenny and rudi switch back and forward to keep them fresh

#12 you're an idiot if you think that guy is going to approach any of those numbers as a third back in Cincy or anywhere else for that matter. He is FINISHED. He is good for 2.5 yard per carry avg. at best! If you do the math that works out to about 400 carries to even get 1000 yds. Not gonna happen. Unfortunately for Shaun A there is no DH in football so he needs to do the honorable thing and retire while he still can walk to the podium. Cowboys Rock!

Romo, TO, Old Phillies QB Mcnappie, JR Manning, they all suck.......Send them to the XFL maybe someone will watch then....

Hey uhari89 # 17 i have read a lot of comments on here but yours takes the cake, your an idoit. i like to bet against idiots like you. cus you let your heart get in the way of your pocket book. you probably lose your butt every year. that division has put more teams in the playoffs and has won more superbowl titles then anyother division. you must be tired of that division kicking your teams butt.

Come on! Shawn was not the MVP in 2005 cause he sucked. Shawn was injured and has plenty of time to get back into shape. I agree with Hawk 12 fan. Shawn has alot more to give and to all you people that have nothing good to say really show the rest of us that either you have not followed shawns career or you are afraid that he will help the bengals to much. I am not a Bengals fan but I will be watching them now. GO SHAWN!

By the way, Remember all the talk about how Favre was a hasbeen? Looks to me like the Jets are doing pretty dang good with a so called washed up QB. Shaun will be the same.

Hey all runningbacks hit slumps Barry Sanders, Emmett Smith, Thurman Thomas all of the good ones do. He has become a little slower. But look how bad seattle did without him. He will do good anywhere he goes as long as he stays healthy. Thats the key factor there. He has become fragile.
