Here's a rare example of a good kind of wide receiver crazy. Indinapolis Colts wide receiver Reggie Wayne(notes) showed up to camp yesterday in full construction gear. Hard hat, orange vest, tool belt, lunch box ... he even had a giant dump truck.
The message he's trying to get across? It's printed clearly on the hard hat. "Super Bowl: Under Construction".
Reggie explains here in some NFL Network footage:
I like it. It's creative, it's funny and it's team-first. I think it shows that, with Marvin Harrison(notes) out of the picture, that Reggie Wayne is ready to take over a bigger leadership role and let teammates know that now is the time to work.

The agent for cornerback Antonio Cromartie confirms that the San Diego Chargers have fined his client $2,500 for using Twitter to complain about the food at training camp.
The offending tweet apparently equated the food quality with the Chargers’ failure to reach the Super Bowl in recent seasons.
Yeah, it was the food that made the Chargers fail to reach the bowl. What a joke.
