Ravens
safety Dawan Landry took a knee to the head as he attempted to tackle Cleveland
running back Jamal Lewis. Landry lay motion motionless on the field until we saw
the sickeningly familiar site of a man on a stretcher, his facemask removed, not
moving an inch.
(UPDATE: Word from the hospital is that Landry never lost consciousness, and has full movement in his arms and legs. Phew. Still no word on the actual injury suffered, but thankfully, it's not something catastrophic.)
