Pacman Jones: 'I liked the strip clubs'

James Brown interviewed former Tennessee Titans cornerback Pacman Jones today on The NFL Today. As is the norm with Pacman, it didn't take long for the conversation to steer toward strip clubs:

Update: Video removed.

I don't know about you, but Pacman sounds very trusting in regards to his recollections of recent strip club attendance:

"I haven't been in a strip club in, what, two years now? A year and a half? Almost three years? Whatever it is, I haven't been in a strip club since that incident."

As Tom Ziller points out on The Sporting Blog, that "incident" was less than two years ago

The only way that interview could have been better is if Pacman had actually been sitting in a strip club. I'm sure if James Brown had waited a few minutes, that could have arranged.

Thanks, Sporting Blog

It's hard to believe this guy is only 25-years of age. During the interview, he claimed all of his past problems are behind him. Well, perhaps so, however I'm not so sure any NFL team wants to sign him right now. One: When he has played for the Cowboys, he played below a mediocre level. Two: I don't think his disturbing reputation in the locker room and his bag felonies is attracting to anyone either...

What a class act! I'm from Tennessee and they're better off without him. Who needs that kind of problem child.

"I LIKEDED THE STRIP CLUBS" QUOTE IS A DIRECT INSULT ON PACMAN'S INTELLIGENCE AND A MISQUOUTE.
    He did NOT...and I repeat...DID NOT...say" I likeded the strip clubs"
He said "I likeded the SCRIP clubs" Watch the tapes. He REPEATEDLY refered to the strip club as the SCRIP club.
DON'T insult a DUMBASS by dumbing down his dumbness. PACMAN'S A F*CKING IDIOT!!!

Almost every professional athelete go's to the strip club.. so it's not the strip club... it's the person who thinks he's better then anyone he walks by.. or the person that has a gun in his pants for NO REASON "not to mention he's to skinny to actually hold a gun in his pants"
it's not the clubs... it's not the alcohal it's the person... the people...
This guy is a punk... plane and simple... and he's rich... wich makes his cocky ness even worse.
the guy can't even have a decent conversation with his own body guard i mean what the hell?
Guns don't kill people.... people kill people

There is a news article floating around that 1 in 7 adults can't read. It is a safe bet which side Pacman Jones is on.

I don't know , kind of feel sorry for the guy, this is giong to get me yelled at lol, but hey who hasn't done something in their lives thats not bad? I feel if he's really being honest with himself and really does get his life together why not give him another chance?? Me, I couldn't pick up a rock and stone him , I've had my share of troubles, I can honestly say I'm not perfect and theres no one I know that is. Give the guy a break, he messes up again , then he deserves all he gets. Everyone deserves a chance to prove themselves, or we would have people out there that would only cause more problems cause no one would give them a chance to change.Just my opinion. But at least let him go and play for any team except Dallas though lol

PanAm..Just how many chances does he deserve? And no, I haven't been to a strip club or made it rain or hit a stripper or got into a shooting that left someone paralyzed! Does that mean I can't relate to him? The man is a punk, thug, or whatever you want to call him and he has had enough chances to make a living in the NFL and is completely ungrateful for the opportunity. Listening to him speak, I think he would have trouble with the phrase " do you want fires with that?" BTW what is a Scrip club???

Who really cares what the Cowgirls do or don't do with their players these days? Their season is over and next year will be some worse drama with some other inmate(s) they decide to sign in the relentless persuit of Jerry Jones trying to buy a Super Bowl. Hat's off to Arizona and, OK, Baltimore for being standup teams (Ray Lewis seems to have pulled his "s..t" back together) It would have made me sick to see the Cowboys go any further than they did. But somehow, they remain in the daily press.....why?? Who cares??

What the Cowboys need are less thugs. Ware, Witten, Newman and the running backs are class acts and as
talented as anywhere.Build the team off oft hem and everything else open to competition, with character
being a consideration. It does carry over to on field reslts. Once a thug, always . . .

Here's the problem with American thinking, who are you to object to what Packman Jones is doing with his time? Personally, I'm glad he likes girls and he's not gay. You people who's got a problem with what Packman does need to get a life and mind your own business and if you're a parent shame on you if you're not being a positive role model for your kids.
