Here's about four minutes of actual gameplay footage from EA Sports Madden 09:

Two things I love:

1) That the camera adjusts to keep all the receivers in frame at all times. I'm tired of throwing out patterns that require me to guess.

2) One of the endzone dances they incorporated was Soula Boy's Crank That Superman thing. That's cutting edge, right there.

    Wow I didn't think u big shot writer guys played madden 2. But I would school u regardless. Besides that it looks pretty good. Just weird how Eli is running all out the pocket not getting sacked. So i guess it is realistic

    Yeah, wake me up when EA announces they've completely revamped franchise mode because frankly, it sucks. I mean, assuming you can actually play franchise for multiple seasons without the game locking up like Madden 08.
