Jevon Kearse's teammate might think his team won't finish the year undefeated, but The Freak isn't shy about advertising his team's current, umblemished 9-0 mark. After the Titans earned a decisive first down against the Bears, thus sealing a 21-14 victory today at Soldier Field, Kearse made a hyphen out of some masking tape to provide a numerical reminder of the Titan's record.

Sadly, the Lions have nobody wearing the number 09.

Titans is just not good? Wow, well if Grammar-guy says it, it must be true... Honestly folks, it looks like the Titans are actually pretty damned good...

This is the most balanced Titans team that I have seen in awhile. They are built to win. They've shown they can run and pass the ball on you. Glad to have the Freak back with the Titans!

The Titans are very, very good this year. They run well, they pass well, they defend both the run and pass well... they just do everything well. They're not super flashy, and by that I mean, who's their name brand? Chargers have Tomlinson. Pats have Moss and had Brady. Colts have Manning. Hell, Giants have Manning. Titans have good players at every position, but if you asked someone on the street who was on their starting roster, you'd probably get an "Uhh... Vince Young?" I'm not a Titans fan (I'm actually a Chargers fan, for no particular reason), but they represent everything right with football right now.

    "...who's their name brand?"
The Titans define "team" football - egoless, relentless, versatile. Players don't get the big pub, but the face of this franchise is the guy who gets even less national respect - Jeff Fisher.

there is no doubt the titans are playing excellent football right now...but when push comes to shove, the giants are a superior team and would definitely beat the titans if the two teams were to meet in the super bowl.

The giants lost a game, right... maybe two if the eagles hold on
eli manning will turn the ball over in a crucial situation and the titans will win by a touchdown

giants depend on their run game and eli hasnt put up the big yardage the past two games then again hadnt needed to,however titans defense looks better than they did back in 99 and only lost that game by the length of an arm,it would make one hell of a superbowl.

Show me one consistent, good team the Titans have beaten this year. You can't. They've beaten: Jags, Bengals, Texans, Vikings, Ravens, Chiefs, Colts, Pack, and now the Bears. Seriously, they have an incredibly easy schedule. To me the only stiff test they face is Pittsburgh, in week 16.
Here's my list of teams I believe would beat Tennessee if they actually squares off: Pittsburgh, Washington, NYG, Philadelphia, Patriots, and maybe the Bucs. Seriously, I believe the top three teams are still in the NFC Beast, and until the Titans play an actually good team, I am not sold.

Titans are 9-0 that means they are good.Period. they have had bad times in earlier year(thanks to some perfect injuries), but i believe, more than ever, in the titans. I am a true hearted fan.I believe people should credit this team ,they got some mad skills this season. You like them or not they are still the undefeated team this year.. and i am loving every minute of it. Just accept it ppl..MY TEAMS BETTER THAN YOURS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
TITANS ARE GOING TO THE SUPERBOWL AND I KNOW IT!

Wow really? People are pathetic.... hate all you want.. But when it comes down to it the Titans are the best team in the NFL. Everyone thought we didn't have a passing game but we beat the Bears today with negative rushing yards. Get over it!

Jessy, who has your team beaten again?
Oh thats right, just about every one of the genuinely bad teams in the league!
Look, I don't mean to diminish the accomplish of a 9-0 start, but to any discerning fan, the quality of competition has to come into play somewhere. This goes back to that old cliched (but true) phrase: "To be the best, you must beat the best". I will believe in the Titans if they knock off one or two of the higher caliber teams in the league, and not before then.
