Jeremy Shockey taken to the hospital after a possible seizure
Details are scarce at the moment, but New Orleans Saints tight end Jeremy Shockey(notes) was taken to the hospital after an incident in the club's weight room Thursday afternoon.
Both NewOrleans.com and abc26.com say that Shockey suffered from "seizure-like symptoms" in the weight room after practice. Shockey did get up and was able to walk to the ambulance under his own power, but seizures, or "seizure-like symptoms" are always scary things. At least, they freak me out.
Obviously, the hope is that it's nothing serious, and that Shockey can get a quick diagnosis of something harmless, and move on. We'll keep you posted.
