Jared Allen rides a blazing saddle

I've never been a big fan of Jared Allen. As it turns out, though, I am a big fan of people who make YouTube videos Jared Allen set to the theme from Blazing Saddles.

I'll readily acknowledge that Allen's reputation as a great player is well-deserved. It's just that I'm not a big fan of his particular celebration. And no, the following five minutes and twenty-four seconds of constant Jared Allen celebrations didn't change my mind. But it's a handsomely produced video, and I'm down with anyone who thinks Sheriff Bart is someone to be admired.

I just don't see Allen as Bart. He's more of a Mongo-type.

Gracias, Arrowhead Pride. And if you wanted to take an another opportunity to fill the comments with random Blazing Saddles quotes, I'm all for it.

    mjd......you don't like him because he is the best DE in the NFL. I would like to know who you think the best DE is. I personnally don't see anything wrong with his celebration.

    Jared Allen is one of the league's best Defensive Ends, no doubt.
    The scary thing about him: He is about to get a whole lot better.
    The reason why: He's young (just turned 26 last week) and the Chiefs will probably draft DT Sedrick Ellis to line up right next to him. My prediction for next season: 20 sacks and Defensive Player of the Year.
