Kion Wilson notched a tackle for the first time this season on Saturday, but the Carolina Panthers back-up linebacker's week took a bad turn when $1,700 worth of guns were stolen from his truck on Monday. According to WCNC in Charlotte, the guns stolen were a Glock 23, a 12-gauge shotgun, a 57 FN handgun and a Smith and Wesson.
Though that seems like a lot of firepower for a trip to Best Buy, Wilson was on his way to a firing range. The Panthers confirmed that he is a registered owner for the guns that were stolen. Wilson has now learned the lesson that half off on "Elf" is not a good enough reason to stop when the car is filled with hundreds of dollars worth of guns.
