Dueling officials: Refs can’t decide in Pittsburgh
Rob Bironas(notes) of the Tennessee Titans attempted an onside kick in the third quarter of Sunday's game against Pittsburgh. Were they able to recover? Gimme a signal, officials!
Or just continually point in random, conflicting directions. Whatever's easier for you guys.
The ball was eventually awarded to the Titans. But then, embracing the spirit of confusion, they turned it right back over to the Steelers. The Steelers went on to rout the Titans, 38-17.
