Deion Sanders gets his Cliff Huxtable on

During an interview with Terrell Owens that aired last night during halftime of the NFL Network's Thursday night coverage, Deion Sanders wore a sweater that only Dr. Huxtable could love.

I wonder what Rudi (Johnson), Theo (Horrocks) and Cousin Pam (Oliver) think about all this.

Update: The Sporting Blog notes that TO wore an interesting garment of his own, and Pro Football Talk gives you a chance to watch the interview.

You're talking about a guy who, when everyone else on the show is wearing a navy or black suit, comes in with a light tan one. Or who wears a black suit with a purple handkerchief and tan shoes. The man has no fashion sense. This shirt actually seems like less of a gaffe than his usual attire.

Maybe he was trying to make T.O. cry? Oh, wait. T.O. does that all by himself.

what was with TO wearing a green shirt with a giant white eagle on it? a leftover from his days in philly? or was there some sort of message we were meant to take from it?

i know that the dog lovers are going to hound me for saying this, but it is good that they used michael vick to make an example, but he aint that bad.... People around the world do bull fights [profane] fights,,, and even MMA is similar to dog fighting and thats with humans... yes i know in dog fighting they usually go to death, but the MMA and people in boxing probably suffer severe brain damage and contusions and hemoraging of the brain.... Id like to see him back in the nfl so that i can use him in madden for the xbox 360 and run tricky stick with him.

yeah, just let the guy play again. for goodness sakes, they were just pitbulls...not like my huskies. He's served his time. MMA is nothing like dog fighting though.

how can the NFL take mike martz freedom of speech away from him? that is what this great nation is built upon. its not like he used profanity, or any kind of prejudice. he was simply stating his belief and who knows he may have even been right.

COWHER can get 10 mil to coach the browns? thats any man in americas dream job, id pay them to have that opportunity. but seriously sounds like a great and fun opportunity. Cowher is a great coach and id understand why he would turn it down because he is so intense passionate gets super pissed and pulls hair over coaching, he takes it very seriously. his ability to dicipline a team, get good players, make good relationships with players, is what makes him a great coach. his play calling is very bland, but he doesnt need to do anything special because he always has his team well prepared.

Coogi sweaters, extremely expensive. I used to rock similar Cosby sweaters back in high school. Like all fashions, everything eventually comes back into style. Bell bottom pants came back, flat top hair cuts, and now Coogi sweaters.

Why can't a person wear what they like? I can't believe the flack about his sweater. Don't like it? Then you don't buy it or wear it.
