Shutdown Corner - NFL

• The itch to coach again, that is. If Mike Holmgren is experiencing any other kind of itching, I am not aware of it, and for this, I am very thankful.

• Bolts From the Blue takes a look at the likelihood of the Chargers moving to Los Angeles. (sticking fingers in my ears) NA NA NA NA, I CAN'T HEAR YOU.

• Here are five quarterbacks who could soon be fantasy football studs. If I were Shaun Hill(notes), I'd be very flattered to have made this list.

• Is Kellen Clemens(notes) just a tad bit delusional about his chances to start for the Jets this season?

• A look at ten rookies who could have an impact in their rookie seasons.

Thanks for the link. Shaun Hill *barely* made the cut. Had the Niners not added a new weapon, I could not see him being a viable fantasy quarterback for much longer.

The Dallas Cowboys should jettison their present coach and hire a real coach like Mike Holmgren.

He's going to the bay area, that's where he wants to live. He has already said this. The niners are the only option seeing as how Al will never give any power over to someone.
Singletary is good, but he can't fix the mess in the sf, they will finish under .500 for the 8th year in a row.

Holmgren would be a good fit in Philly. He should just hang out until Reid gets fired later this year.

The racist Professional Golf Association should do the right thing and admit all the great African American
golfers from the 30's, 40's and 50's and early 60's to the PGA Hall of Fame. Baseball did it for the Negro League
    players who were discriminated against.

Is this an article about racism in golf? WTF?
He would make a great GM in Oakland, but that will never happen. They will keep Al's head alive in a jar so he can screw up our draft until his gutless son steps up and takes the franchise from him. Then he'll probably be worse.
So MJD, the Los Angeles Chargers?

Everyone saw what Mike did to Seattle in his final year. Quite a senior moment to leave on. They should have handed the team over to the new Coach mid season. I hope he doesn't come to the 9ers.
As to Shaun Hill making the list of 5 QB, I hope Singletary reads this and lets him start. Alex Smith needs a few more years as a back up and then he should retire.
Brought to you by the Shaun Hill for QB committee
