Zack Greinke: (Elbow) Expected To Resume Throwing In 2-to-3 Days

Rotowire.com
Update: Greinke (elbow) is expected to resume what the Dodgers are calling "a progressive throwing program" in two-to-three days, the Los Angeles Times reports.

Recommendation: Greinke first reported elbow discomfort to the team last week, and an MRI was performed. That test revealed no structural damage, but the right-hander's pain returned Sunday, and he will be shut down for a few days. He's reportedly been treated with a platelet-rich plasma injection and anti-inflammatory medication, but the Dodgers have decided against another MRI.
