Randolph went 7-16 from the field. Other key players for Memphis included Kosta Koufos with 14 points and 7 rebounds, and James Johnson with 12 points and 8 assists. On 6-13 shooting, James Harden put up 16 points for Houston in the loss.
The Rockets posted an eFG% of just 42.6%, including 28.1% from 3-point range. This year, they are winless (0-5) when they record marks below 45% and 30% in those respective categories. On the other hand, the Grizzlies are undefeated (4-0) when holding their opponents to such low percentages.
This drops Houston (29-17) to 2-2 versus Memphis on the season.
