Yves Jabouin vs. Dustin Pague Added to UFC 161 Winnipeg Card

Bantamweights Yves Jabouin and Dustin Pague will square off at UFC 161 on June 15 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.

UFC officials announced the match-up on Wednesday.

Jabouin (18-8) made his way to the UFC via the WEC. He’s gone 3-2 in his UFC tenure and is coming off a knockout loss to Brad Pickett at UFC on Fuel TV: Struve vs. Miocic on Sept. 29, 2012.

Pague’s (11-7) path to the UFC went thought The Ultimate Fighter. Pague advanced to the semifinal round of the fourteenth season of the reality show where he was defeated by T.J. Dillashaw. He’s gone 1-3 in the UFC since his appearance on the show and will likely be fighting for his job on June 15.

UFC 161 takes place at the MTS Centre in Winnipeg and his headlined by UFC interim bantamweight titleholder Renan Barao and challenger Eddie Wineland.

The card features two light heavyweight match-ups that could have title implications. Maricio “Shogun” Rua faces Antonio Rogerio Nogueira, while Dan Henderson takes on Rashad Evans. Also on the card, Jake Shields will return to the welterweight division to take on Tryone Woodley.
