The Houston Texans have quarterback problems, and Vince Young announced on his Twitter account that he is ready and available if needed.
Starting quarterback Matt Schaub had to leave Sunday's game with an ankle injury, and his replacement, T.J. Yates, threw two interceptions in the 38-13 loss to the St. Louis Rams.
Young, who was not signed by any team during the offseason after making it known he wanted to make a comeback, tweeted, "Let them know VY is in shape and ready to go! I always loved my birth place and everyone who lives in it IM READY"
Young was born in Houston.
