New York Yankees at New York Mets Highlight MLB Schedule for June 24, 2012

Yahoo Contributor Network

The 2012 MLB regular season is well underway with over two months of baseball already in the books. It is still a long road to October, but paths are already starting to take shape and many surprises have already occurred along the way. The early portions of the season bring promise but at this point anything can still happen.

The highlight of the day will be when the New York Yankees visit the New York Mets at Citi Field located in New York, N.Y.

CC Sabathia (9-3, 3.55 ERA) will take the mound for the Yankees facing off against the Mets' R.A. Dickey (11-1, 2.00 ERA). Two of the game's top pitchers will battle it out in the final game of interleague play this season.

With a number of great games to be played on the day, this will be one of the better ones.
