New York Yankees at Cleveland Indians, August 25, 2012: Fan Preview

The Cleveland Indians look to avoid their 10th straight loss as they face off against the New York Yankees on Saturday, August 25. Not much can be said about the Indians' performance in recent weeks as they have the potential to hit their second 10-game losing streak in just one month. Since July 27, the Tribe has lost 22 of 26 while being outscored by 89 runs. It is certainly a sad state of affairs in all of Wahoo-land.

The Indians will send "ace" Justin Masterson to the mound to battle the mighty New York offense. Masterson is also the last Cleveland pitcher to earn a win, coming back on August 13 against the Los Angeles Angels. Pair that with Masterson's 2-2 record with a 2.81 ERA in five career starts against the Yankees, and that may be the closest thing to hope the Indians have this evening.
