In this Week 6 matchup, the San Francisco 49ers (4-1) will host the New York Giants (3-2). In a big rematch from last year's NFC Championship Game, the 49ers are looking for redemption against the reigning Super Bowl champion Giants. Here's a look at the injuries sustained by both teams for this Week 6 contest.
Out for Giants: DT Rocky Bernard (quad), RB Andre Brown (concussion), S Kenny Phillips (knee)
Bernard will miss his second straight game and will be replaced by Markus Kuhn and Marvin Austin. Brown, the primary backup at running back, is out with a concussion but was seeing his time decrease due to Ahmad Bradshaw's improving health and David Wilson's slow emergence. Phillips will miss his second straight game and could be an area to target for the 49ers pass offense.

Questionable for Giants: T David Diehl (knee), WR Hakeem Nicks (knee), CB Corey Webster (hamstring/hand)
Diehl has been limited in practice this week and could be available to start. Nicks, Eli Manning's other top wideout, has missed the past three games and will be a game-time decision for the Giants. Webster played through his injury last week against the Cleveland Browns and is a crucial piece of the Giants secondary and would be a big loss for New York if unavailable.
Questionable for 49ers: RB Brandon Jacobs (knee)
Unlike last week's injury report, Carlos Rogers and Isaac Sopoaga are no longer listed as questionable. Jacobs has been a full participant in practice this week but he not guaranteed to suit up against the Giants. Frank Gore and Kendall Hunter have done a good job at running back and could make Jacobs inactive this week against his former team.
Probable for Giants: WR Ramses Barden (concussion), TE Martellus Bennett (knee), LB Chase Blackburn (hip), LB Michael Boley (hip), CB Jayron Hosley (hamstring), LB Keith Rivers (hamstring), S Antrel Rolle (knee)
Barden, a huge performer in Week 3 against the Carolina Panthers, should be back this week after missing last week's game, but will likely be in a lesser role due to the emergence of Domenik Hixon and Rueben Randle. Bennett is another member of the Giants offense who could be a difference-maker and matchup problem for the 49ers if he can remain explosive with his knee injury. Blackburn, Boley, and Rolle are all crucial players of the Giants defense and will most likely be available for this game.
Probable for 49ers: P Andy Lee (hand), QB Alex Smith (finger)
Lee remains listed as probable due to his thumb injury. Navorro Bowman is no longer listed on the injury report. Smith find himself on the injury report for the first time this season due to a mild sprain of the middle finger in his throwing hand. While he will still start the game, it will be interesting to see if this has any affect on his ability to throw the ball.
