Yankees sign Wang to minor league deal

The New York Yankees announced Saturday that they signed right-handed pitcher Chien-Ming Wang to a one-year minor league contract.
Wang was impressive in the World Baseball Classic with Chinese Taipei. He did not allow a run in 12 innings of work.
Wang, 32, spent the last two seasons with the Washington Nationals. He was 2-3 with a 6.68 ERA last season. He missed the 2010 season after having shoulder surgery.
He also pitched for the Yankees from 2005-09, going 55-26 with a 4.16 ERA.
