SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. (AP) -- Henry Furman passed for 199 yards and two touchdowns as Yale rallied from a 10-7 halftime deficit to beat Cal Poly 24-10 on Saturday.
The Mustangs' Bobby Zalud kicked a 53-yard field goal as the first half ended, giving Cal Poly a 10-7 lead at the break.
But the Bulldogs (3-0) rallied in the second half, holding the Mustangs (2-3) to just 37 yards on 18 plays in total offense and scoring 14 unanswered points including a 31-yard Parker Toms field goal.
A third-quarter Cal Poly touchdown on a 67-yard pass from Chris Brown to freshman Cam Akins was wiped out by an illegal formation penalty. Brown passed for 104 yards and was intercepted twice by the Bulldogs.
