World Series of Fighting 1 Medical Suspensions: Arlovski and Johnson Escape Unscathed

The MMA World Series of Fighting 1: Arlovski vs. Cole medical suspensions were released Tuesday by the Nevada Athletic Commission.

WSoF main event winner Andrei Arlovski and co-main event winner Anthony “Rumble” Johnson both escaped unscathed, but the same couldn’t be said for their opposition. Arlovski’s opponent, Devin Cole, could be out until May 3 of next year, while D.J. Linderman, Johnson’s foe, will sit on the sidelines until January.

WSoF 1 Medical Suspensions:

Devin Cole must have his left knee evaluated and cleared by a doctor or no contest until May 3, 2013. He faces a minimum suspensions until Dec. 19 with no contact prior to Dec. 4.

D.J. Linderman is suspended until Jan. 3, 2013, with no contact prior to Dec. 19.

Travis Bartlett is suspended until Dec. 19 with no contact prior to Dec. 4 due to lacerations on his right upper leg, left ear, and left thigh.

Gregor Gracie is suspended until Nov. 25 with no contact prior to Nov. 18.

Brian Cobb is suspended until Nov. 25 with no contact prior to Nov. 18 due to a left cheek contusion.

Ramico Blackmon is suspended until Nov. 25 with no contact prior to Nov. 18.

Josh Burkman must have his right wrist and right foot cleared by a doctor or no contest until May 3, 2013. He faces a minimum suspension until Dec. 19 with no contact prior to Dec. 4 due to a right upper eyelid laceration.

T.J. O’Brien must have his right knee and right hand cleared by an orthopedic doctor or no contest until May 3, 2013.

Dustin Jacoby is suspended until Dec. 19 with no contest prior to Dec. 4 due to a right cheek and deep left upper eyelid laceration.
