OKLAHOMA CITY -- The Chicago Wolves could not find the back of the net last Sunday as they were defeated by the Charlotte Checkers 5-0. They rebounded in a big way on Friday night.

The Wolves recorded six goals of their own while shutting out the Oklahoma City Barons on Friday night, burying them 6-0 at the Cox Convention Center.

Forwards Alexandre Bolduc, Shane Harper, and Ty Rattie each tallied twice for Chicago (4-5-0-1). Goaltender Jake Allen kicked out all 21 shots he faced, including big stops on six Barons' power plays, to earn the win.

After a scoreless first period, Chicago exploded for five goals in the second, prompting a goaltending change from Oklahoma City. Tyler Bunz replaced starter Olivier Roy after 40 minutes, allowing one goal in the final frame. Roy made 16 saves on 21 shots and suffered the loss.

Chicago picked up season-highs for both goals and win margin in the victory, while Oklahoma City (4-6-0-1) suffered its worst defeat of the year. Five of Chicago's six goals were scored at even strength, with one power-play marker.

Five players -- Harper, Bolduc, Rattie, Keith Aucoin and Corey Locke -- posted multi-point games for Chicago. Taylor Chorney, David Shields, Pat Cannone, and Evan Oberg also registered points.

The Wolves return to the Cox Convention Center Saturday night to face the Barons in a 7 p.m. rematch.
