DES MOINES, Iowa -- The Chicago Wolves made four roster moves before Friday night's game against the Iowa Wild, but still won.

Despite losing three of their top scorers -- forwards Keith Aucoin, Adam Cracknell, and Ty Rattie -- to the St. Louis Blues, the Wolves took advantage of struggling Iowa to post a 4-1 win at Wells Fargo Arena.

The Wolves alsoe added forward Eric Kattelus from the ECHL's Kalamazoo Wings.

While missing a handful of players from their top power-play unit, the Wolves converted their first man-advantage chance 16:41 into the game. Defenseman Joe Corvo released a heavy shot from the point that was redirected by left wing Sergey Andronov in front of the net.

The Wolves (41-20-5-5) took a commanding lead over the Wild (27-34-6-4) with two goals less than two minutes apart in the second period to go up 3-0.

Chicago center Alexandre Bolduc gave the Wolves a two-goal lead with a shorthanded tally at 8:24. Bolduc beat the Iowa defenders back to the puck to get a breakaway, then got the puck past Wild goaltender Cody Reichard with a low shot.

Right wing Shane Harper followed that up with a goal at 9:56, accepting a pass from center Pat Cannone and showing off his hands to move around Reichard and beating the goalie top-shelf.

Bolduc added his second goal of the game in the third period when he chipped a rebound over Reichard at 15:07.

Wolves goalie Jake Allen had his shutout bid ended on a power-play goal by Iowa right wing Marc Hagel at 18:25 of the third period to bring the final score to 4-1. Allen (31-16-3) posted 22 saves in the win.

Reichard (1-1-0) made 31 saves on 35 shots and suffered the loss.
