Michigan running back Fitz Toussaint and defensive end Frank Clark were cleared to return this week after the two suspended players sat out the season opener against Alabama.
"They are both going to play this week," coach Brady Hoke said Monday.
Toussaint is listed as the starter on the depth chart for this week's game against Air Force. The junior's availability will be a welcome addition to an offense that struggled against Alabama's defense in Saturday night's loss.
Toussaint didn't make trip to Dallas as part of his punishment for a June 21 arrest on a drunken driving charge, which later was reduced to operating a vehicle while visibly impaired.
Clark was charged with second-degree home invasion resulting from an alleged theft from a student's dorm room during the summer.
Hoke said Clark, a sophomore, had "paid a lot of consequences internally."
