Update: McGahee has had a very strong training camp to date and remains firmly planted as the No. 1 running back in Denver, the Denver Post reports.
Recommendation: McGahee has ceded a few carries to the backs behind him on the depth chart, although that has more to do with giving the veteran a rest instead of any possible demotion. Ronnie Hillman is expected to be the lead back in passing situations but as of right now there is no competition for the top spot on the depth chart.
