Willie Colon re-signs with Jets
The New York Jets announced that offensive guard Willie Colon has re-signed with the organization.
Colon signed a one-year deal with the Jets on Wednesday, ending his brief tenure as a free agent.
“Ultimately, this is where I wanted to be,” Colon told the team's website. “I’m home-grown and finishing here was important to me. To be in this situation and to sign back on is a blessing.”
Colon played his first seven seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers before joining the Steelers a season ago. He signed a one-year contract in 2013 with the Jets.
