CHICAGO (AP) -- White Sox slugger Adam Dunn is out of the lineup for a fourth straight game with a strained right oblique as Chicago begins a pivotal four-game series against the Detroit Tigers.
Dunn has 38 homers. He missed two games earlier this month with the injury, returned for three games and then missed the three-game weekend series against Kansas City.
The White Sox welcomed back third baseman Kevin Youkilis, who missed the three previous games to be with his wife when she gave birth to their child. Chicago manager Robin Ventura also said right-hander Gavin Floyd likely will return to the rotation Wednesday. He's been on the DL since Aug. 28 with an elbow strain.
AL Central-leading Chicago faced off against second-place Detroit on Monday night.
