CULLOWHEE, N.C. (AP) Keaton Cole scored a game-high 22 points to lift Western Carolina to a 67-57 victory over Wofford Saturday in a Big South Conference game.
Cole was 6 for 7 from beyond the 3-point arc. No other teammate hit a 3-pointer, the Catamounts (8-8, 3-1) finishing a collective 6 of 13 from 3-point range. Cole also made all four of his free thows.
Wofford (9-7, 2-2), meanwhile, hit only 8 of 25 3-point attempts.
Western Carolina outscored Wofford 15-7 at the foul line, going 15 for 22 while Wofford hit 7 of only 8 attempts.
