Wesley Matthews: (Elbow) Undergoes Successful Surgery

Rotowire.com
Update: Matthews underwent a successful arthroscopic debridement of his left elbow Wednesday and is expected to recover in 3-4 weeks.

Recommendation: Matthews hurt his elbow in February, but the injury was mostly overshadowed by issues with his ankles. He didn't miss a game during his first three seasons in the league, and still managed to play in 69 contests during the 2012-13 season, despite dealing with a number of injuries. The recovery time of 3-4 weeks indicates that the elbow shouldn't affect Matthews' status for the start of the 2013-14 campaign.
