MISSOULA, Mont. (AP) Damian Lillard had 22 points and Weber State outscored Portland State 11-1 in the last 4:59 for a 69-63 victory on Tuesday night in a Big Sky tournament semifinal.
Gelaun Wheelwright scored 15 points and Kyle Tresnak 10 for the No. 2-seeded Wildcats (24-5), who play top-seeded Montana in the championship game on Wednesday.
It is a rematch of the teams' Feb. 28 meeting on the same floor, in which the Big Sky's regular-season crown was on the line. Montana won 66-51 to earn the championship and right to host the tournament semifinals and title game.
Charles Odum had 24 points and Chehales Tapscott 19 points and 11 rebounds for the third-seeded Vikings (17-14), who led or were tied for all but a 35-second span early in the second half and the final 2:24.
Portland State shot 0 of 4 from the floor, 1 of 2 from the line and committed four turnovers in its last eight possessions.
Baskets by Lillard, the Big Sky player of the year, and Wheelwright gave Weber State a 64-62 lead. Odum hit a free throw with 39 seconds left, and two Lillard shots from the line made the score 66-63.
After Odum missed a jumper, Portland State was forced to foul, and the Wildcats added three more points on free throws.
