Black Monday in NFL:

Wayne Simmonds: Sits Saturday With Concussion

Rotowire.com
Update: Simmonds sat out Saturday's game due to a concussion sustained during Friday's game against the Capitals, NHL.com reports.

Recommendation: Simmonds acquired the head injury when the Capitals' John Erskine elbowed him in the first period of Friday's 3-2 loss, resulting in a three-game suspension for Erskine. Tye McGinn replaced Simmonds on the Flyers' top line Saturday and could have an extended run in that spot if Simmonds continues to suffer post-concussion effects.
