Reggie Moore, Washington State's starting point guard the past three seasons, has been dismissed from the Cougars' basketball team for a violation of team rules, the school announced.
"Reggie has been an important part of the basketball program for the last three years and I wish him the very best in the future," coach Ken Bone said in a statement.
The specific reason for the dismissal was not revealed.
Moore, who would have been a senior this season, averaged 10.2 points and 5.2 assists last season as a junior.
