Pierre Garcon had a big day, but it wasn't enough to avoid a frustrating loss for the Redskins against the Falcons, 27-26, in Atlanta.
Kirk Cousins found the end zone three times on 29 of 45 passing for 381 yards, two picks and one fumble. Despite coming away with a victory, Matt Ryan wasn't as productive, and finished 29 for 38 with 210 yards passing, one touchdown, one pick and one fumble.
Alfred Morris rushed for 98 yards on 18 carries with two fumbles. Garcon was a top performer, snagging seven balls for 129 yards with a touchdown.
The Washington defense surrendered 54 yards rushing and 210 passing while forcing one interception. They sacked Ryan three times.
Falcons tight end Tony Gonzalez was impressive, racking up 62 receiving yards and one touchdown. Running back Steven Jackson also put together a noteworthy performance with 38 rushing yards and two touchdowns.
The Redskins host the Cowboys (7-6) next week while the Falcons head to San Francisco to face the 49ers (10-4).
