Washington Capitals host hilarious on-ice mascot dodgeball game (Video)

The Washington Capitals hosted several mascots for their game at the Verizon Center against the Anaheim Ducks on Saturday and after the second period they all played a game of dodgeball on the ice.

The mascots involved were Louie of the St. Louis Blues, Bernie the St. Bernard of the Colorado Avalanche, Screech of the Washington Nationals, The Oriole Bird of the Baltimore Orioles, Poe of the Biltmore Ravens, G-Wiz of the Washington Wizards and Slapshot of the Capitals along with the previous Caps mascot, Winger.

Here are all the mascots throwing balls at each other.

Slapshot won the game for his team, hitting Louie.

The mascots entertained all around the building, including the stands.

Saturday was Caps Kids Day at Verizon Center and the organization had face painters, balloon artists and caricature artists around the concourse. The team also tweeted out several photos of players as kids. The mascots were there as part of the promotion.
